Previously, Devour Souls only did it's Detonate Damage to targets around the Detonated target and not the actual Blighted target itself. To better serve his Mage title, we are looking to increase his Damage significantly (especially his single target) at the cost of some of his previous Guardian Stats.
Smite hades build Patch#
The King of the Underworld has had a long history in SMITE and with this patch we aim to solidify his identity while cleaning up his mechanics to be more intuitive. Shroud of Darkness is seeing a slight Cooldown reduction to give him more utility and potential answers when he cannot escape or engage with Death from Below.ĭecreased Cooldown from 15/14/13/12/11 -> 14/13/12/11/10s.ĭecreased Magical Power Scaling on the Detonate Heal from 15% -> 10%. Death from Below will be on a longer Cooldown and will need to be used more carefully, while Devour Souls is seeing a Magical Power scaling decrease, lowering the amount of Healing he has at later stages of the game. Instead, we are focusing on his ability to engage and disengage fights, while slightly increasing the utility he can bring to a team.

His new identity as a close range burst Mage is one we want to keep moving forward, and as such he is not receiving any damage nerfs. Since then, he has rocketed towards being the top pick in casuals and making a strong standing at the highest levels of play. Hades has been sending many players to the underworld since his buffs and fixes in 4.6. If the enemy is blighted, their protections are reduced by 10/15/20/25/30. 5s for 4s, additionally gaining 40/50/60/70/80 protection to all damage. Hades calls to all enemy souls nearby, pulling them closer to him over time, doing 50/65/80/95/110 (+35% of your magical power) magical damage every. If the enemy is Blighted, the enemy explodes, doing up to 20 damage to nearby enemies and healing your allies for 30/40/50/60/70 within 20 feet of the exploding target. Hades devours the souls of his enemies in a radius around him, doing 50/75/100/125/150 (+60% of your magical power) magical damage. If the enemy is Blighted, they are also feared. Hades silences all enemies in a cone in front of him for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2s.If the enemy is Blighted, they are slowed by 25/30/35/40/45% for 2 seconds. Hades descends into the ground and erupts from below at his ground location, doing 30/50/70/90/110 (+70% of your magical power) magical damage to all enemies in the area.If an enemy is affected by blight, each of Hades' other powers have an additional effect. This debuff stats on the target for 5 seconds and can be refreshed. Hade's normal staff attacks apply a debuff to the enemy, called Blight. You could switch the positions of the Pythag's/Ethereal and Spirit/Mantle/Counter depending on your pref. Replace Shoes w/ Elixir of Speed + Spirit Robe or Mantle of Discord or a counter item.

Pestilence or Genji's Guard or Oni Hunter's Garb.War Flag (upgrade to Spartan Flag at level 17+).Here's a general build you might try (many variants possible, just proposing one): I would stick with the standard Supp starters.either Sentinel's Gift -> Sentinel's Embrace or War Flag -> Spartan Flag would be good. I think a bit of CDR would be good, and while it won't proc until you've finished the ult, Pridwen would also be functional if you're in really big trouble, you could cancel early and get that shield to help you survive a bit longer.

In this role, I wouldn't suggest doing that, but you might still want to get some lifesteal, and Pythagorem's Piece's aura will also help your nearby teammates. We know that in other roles he'll build a lot of lifesteal, e.g. That said, if you're insistent on playing him there, I would probably suggest mostly supporty items, but with items that also emphasize his effectiveness.
